“The entire state Umno leadership and elected representatives gathered here today hereby announce that we have lost confidence in the leadership of Mukhriz Mahathir as Kedah Umno liaison chief and as Kedah menteri besar,” read Ahmad Bashah from a prepared statement.

He listed four alleged reasons for the lost of confidence namely Mukhriz’s failure to unite the party, his lack of strategic planning for the next general election, his failing to to lead and mobilise the party’s machinery and his failure to manage the state administration effectively.

“Therefore we appeal for the prime minister’s attention to institute a change in the state’s top leadership and also the Kedah menteri besar,” he told a press conference in Alor Setar this afternoon at the Grand Alora Hotel.

Sarawak Report can not be the only one seeking facts from all this waffle.  We have been presented with four vacuous alleged categories of complaint against the Kedah MB, which are not backed by a single example of failure or negligence.

The MB of Selangor was pushed out because his colleagues were concerned that he was financially and legally compromised, with plenty of documented evidence to prove it.

Meanwhile, Mukriz’s detractors, who hot-footed to see Najib today (presumably to pick up their cheques) appear not to have identified a single transgression by their boss.

Ironic, given that their orchestrator, Najib, is up to his neck in a list of crimes that have left the entire country (apart from these gravy seekers and other UMNO paylings) scandalised and outraged.

Time these UMNO guys did the job they were elected for and represented their people!
