Alleged mega criminal Najib is boasting to anyone who will listen that even if he is convicted he will be out on bail while appeals are heard. One has to wonder who has fed him that nonsense. His lawyers? Are they so new and inexperienced as not to know that appeals from conviction are made from Jail?

It appears that Najib thinks that, like in his day, the Courts can be manipulated to do whatever he wants. From day one in Sg. Buloh he will discover that it is what the prison governor and his staff say that counts and new long term inmates have to learn that lesson from arrival.

Something else; not to be forgotten. The present circus will soon be over, the defenders will be gone and the bars really are fixed to the cell window. Something to think about as the years drag slowly by.
